Activities Legal Department
1. Regular monitoring of Court Cases and Arbitration Matters.
2. Updating to top management about developments on Court Cases and Arbitration Matters
3. Submission of Status of Court Cases and Arbitration Cases to Top management on weekly basis
4. Preparation of draft Legal Notice or Reply to Legal Notice, as and when required, as per instructions and inputs received from the parent department
5. Vetting of Plaints, Petitions, Written Statement, Affidavits, Counter Affidavits, Rejoinder, sur-rejoinders, etc prepared by Counsels in various court cases or arbitration matters
6. Preparation of Statement of Claims or Statement of Defence, rejoinders, additional documents, Admission and Denial of Documents, Affidavit in lieu of Examination in Chief, etc in Arbitration Matters
7. Follow-up and coordination with outside agencies in matters of external investigations
8. Follow-up and coordination with Counsels dealing with the various court cases
9. Replies to Statutory Audit / CAG Audit queries
10. Review of long pending cases
11. Arranging for Legal Opinion from Senior Counsels on matters referred by Parent Departments
12. Providing Legal Opinion internally on matters referred by Parent Departments
